HelloMar 31, 2018 Smart scan runs, but every time I run full system scan (48 hours+), it stays stuck on 30%. I've uninstalled / reinstalled and it doesn't help. As the title says, when i scan my computer with avast, it gets to around 10%, then it suddenly jumps to 80% within a very short period of time, it then reaches 100% complete within a matter of minutes. This is also the same when i scan my computer with Malware anti-Malware.
My Hotmail email is also sending out spam emails to all of my contacts, i have changed my password a number of times now but it has not stopped this, this is why i said i think i have spyware on my computer.

Hello everyone,
As my title indicates, Avast keeps freezing while it scans. I've done a smart scan twice today and both times they freeze at 50%. It's frozen right now as I speak and I tried exiting it, even trying to use the Task Bar to do it, but it doesn't work. I'm using Avast Free Antivirus 2015. I also want to add that I'm having issues with my Google Chrome. Whenever I click on it, a window won't pop up, or it'll pop up much later. I've been having this problem since around the beginning of the week. My computer is a Dell Inspiron15 5000 Series that I got around July 2014.
What should I do?
