3 years agoSo in other Fallouts while the alien blaster has certainly been the most powerful weapon in the game it has not been the most practical weapon as the limited ammo meant you couldn't use it forever, now you can.
If you get the alien blaster and have the 4th rank of the Science! perk then you can convert the ammo from alien power cells to fusion cells, meaning you can use it as much as you want. The catch is that is does slightly less damage than the normal alien blaster, approximately 10% less but it still is by far one of the most damaging weapons in the game and is highly practical with its fairly common ammo type and low weight. Does anyone agree with me?
