OS: Windows 7 64 bit Home edition.
Windows photo viewer cannot open any of my jpeg files. It gives me the message:
'windows photo viewer can't open this picture because either photo viewer doesn't support this file format or you don't have the latest updates to photo viewer.'
The same pictures open just fine in paint, and on my laptop with the same OS on photo viewer so I am positive it is not a problem with the pictures themselves.
I recently moved the location of some windows temp folders to a secondary drive, and I also installed all the windows updates available. Here is a screenshot of the temp folders i moved. Possible causes of issue?

I would prefer to try and fix windows photo viewer rather then download a different program but I have not found any solution thus far.
Thanks for any help in advance,
